SOLAR ENERGY
Since the 1970’es Danish companies have worked intensively in developing solar water heating systems both in large-scale applications and in smaller systems for the home. Denmark is home for some of Europe's largest companies in the thermal solar power sector.

Denmark also have the largest district heating solar plant in Europe (20,000m2), and is doing intensive research in the area of solar power.

Several Danish companies are on the forefront in photovoltaic solar solutions.
