The Danish Embassy in Paris (Trade Council of Denmark), Danish Industries and Export Promotion Denmark have the pleasure of organising a joint Danish participation during the SIREME EXHIBITION in Paris, La Défense - CNIT - the 17-19'of November 2008.

The event is a part of the important International Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Week "Let's move on" - organised by the French Environment and Energy agency ADEME. The SIREME fair is organised in collaboration with the French Renewable Energy syndicate (SER) with support of the European Union, The French government under the French presidency of the EU, The European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), the European Wind Energy Association (EWEC) .

Important meetings and seminars in parallel:

During the week many important seminars and meetings will take place in la Défense, in parallel with the exposition. This will ensure the participation of all major players and decision makers in the energy and energy management field.

Denmark as guest of honour:

Denmark is recognized as one of the countries with the most experience within renewable energy and energy efficiency. As a result of this Denmark has been invited as guest of honour at SIREME and the French energy week. The Danish foreign minister Per Stig Moeller and/or minister of energy and climate Connie Hedegaard will participate and will be giving one of the opening speeches. The event is expected to be opened by a number of other important European politicians such as the French President Sarkozy, the minister of environment, energy and sustainable development in France, - Mr. Borloo.
