The conference was opened by the Danish Ambassador to France H.E. Niels Egelund, followed by the Danish Vice cabinet director Jens Bødtcher-Hansen, who explained about the Danish energy politics, and Mr. Alexandre Joly, -the French Vice Cabinet Director for M. Borloo (MEDAD- French Ministries for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning).
